“Love is Loyalty,” says Shavya
9th of November is when Varun fell in love with his wife-to-be. Varun is a Chartered Accountant. Back then on the day of his examination, a sweet gesture by Shavya sweeps him off his feet and he falls madly in love with her. What did she do? Let’s listen to it from Shavya herself, "He had gone to write his examination and I went to his exam center. I waited for him for about 45 minutes and the moment he came out, I was there standing with a bouquet of roses. He was totally surprised seeing me there."
I am sure he was. I was curious to know what happened. I ask Varun, how did you feel when you saw her there? "I stood there for a minute, just staring at her in surprise trying to understand if it’s true. I ran towards her and gave her a hug and asked her how long she had been waiting for? She made me feel so special by doing this for me and I realized how much she loved me that day." That's so cute.
I ask Varun, what is special about Shavya? Unable to contain his excitement, he responds, "Everything about her is special. During our courtship, she would call my parents twice in a week and speak to them. I felt so nice that she was making an effort to bond with my family. The amount of respect and the way she cared for them made me fall for her even more." So how long was your courtship, I ask the beautiful lady. She says, "We had a courtship of 5 months. We used to meet often and also talk a lot over phone." So what's more exciting about courtship? "Courtship is all about understanding each other. Knowing each other’s likes and dislikes, hobbies, passion and way of living," says Varun. I then ask the couple, 'Is love before marriage important or after?’ Shavya had an interesting answer, "Love before marriage is important. It brings two people together. Love happens through understanding, care and by sharing happiness and tough times." That's nice.
So how's life after marriage? Shavya with full of enthusiasm says, "Life after marriage has been great. My mother-in-law treats me like her own daughter. I don’t feel like I have come to a new house." Any special memory after marriage, which you want to relive? She says, “My first karva chauth. Varun had planned for such an amazing surprise." I was curious to know what it was and so I ask Varun about what special did he do? He says, "I had booked a private dinner at her favourite restaurant in Noida. After the pooja, I blindfolded her and took her to a restaurant to enjoy a lovely candle light dinner. Once she entered, she got a bouquet and a note." Shavya continues, "The note was handmade by him. When we reached the place it looked so beautiful. I felt so special and that is one of those memories, which I will always cherish in life."
Wishing Them A Lifetime Of Joy And Happiness.
