So what happens when two different paths meet, when destinies convergea & when the universe conspires to get the two separate individuals together for life.!!! Rahul was a defence officer serving the Indian Navy as a Lieutenant Commander. He was on bharatmatrimony for more than a year trying to look for his match, but nothing clicked. He was planning to leave the navy and join the corporate & had just completed his post graduation from IIM Lucknow... when destiny brought about the surprise for him. I am an Organizational Behavioral Analyst, handling projects for both corporates and the defence sectors...but more passionate about the latter. We saw each other’s profiles and liked what was written there. It definitely match each other's partner preference. Soon we got in touch, and even interacted on gtalk, since he got my contact details here. Surprisingly we vibed very well and struck up a great friendship from the very start. Our common passion in working with the defence, sharing likes a nd dislikes and not to forget the amazing sense of humour which we both have... left both of us quite impressed with each other. He called me the very next day and we chatted on phone quite a while. We realised that even if we don't marry each other, we shall surely remain friends. My family was pleased. But within a week of regular interaction, he decided to meet me. His family was also pleased when he thought of meeting me. ... ( later he confessed that he already had started liking me pretty much & didnt want any other guy to take me away...) So within 10 days of knowing each other, he flew down to my city and met me & my family. There was something about him...that honesty, simple yet smart and the genuine feeling towards me which did not go unnoticed by my family.... My family agreed readily, even before we met his parents... Something told us, that we have found our match. Later when the two families met, it was amazing....the good cheer, the fun and laughter that we shared amongst each other ma de us feel as if we have known each other for ages. Our marriage was soon fixed. This surely was destined.... we are in a kind of friendship and togertherness which makes us inseparable... We laugh like kids, fight like children and behave like buddies... above all we respect, support, understand and really care for each other ..Now our families are doubting whether to call this an "Arranged marriage" or a "love" marriage??... ... what difference does it make, as long as we all are happy. It's quite exciting to share our story...since you guys are the reason how me and Prem met and will start our beautiful journey of marriage on 12th Feb 2010... We keep discussing innumerable times, what if Punjabimatrimony.com was'nt there how could we ever meet !!! But maybe this is what we call destiny.....n yes marriages are indeed made in heaven above...
